HOAZZ.com
What is HOAZZ?

Ask your community documents anything.

HOAZZ answers questions about your association's own documents — by email, in plain language, with the source cited every time.

What it does

Instead of digging through a portal or a hundred-page PDF, a resident just emails a question.

Every community has a dedicated HOAZZ email address. A resident sends a question to it — "How tall can my fence be?", "Can I rent out my unit?", "When is the next board meeting?" — and HOAZZ replies with a clear answer drawn straight from that community's official documents, citing the exact document and page so anything can be verified.

It reads the records that actually govern your community:

Declaration & covenants (CC&Rs) Bylaws Rules & regulations Architectural (ARC) guidelines Meeting minutes
Private by design

Questions and answers are never sold, and personal questions are not stored. HOAZZ answers only from your community's documents — it doesn't give legal advice or make decisions, it points you to what your documents say.

How it works for residents

Three steps, no app, no login. Residents are always free.

  1. Email your community's address

Send your question to your association's HOAZZ address (for example, yourcommunity@hoazz.com). You can find it on your coverage listing, newsletter, or community website.

  2. HOAZZ finds the answer

It searches your community's official documents for the relevant rule, bylaw, or minute.

  3. You get a cited reply

A plain-language answer comes back by email, citing the source document and page. If the answer isn't in your documents, HOAZZ says so rather than guessing.

For boards & managers

Bring HOAZZ to your community

If you serve on a board or manage an association, here's how to get set up.

Free
For residents

Homeowners never pay a cent to ask questions — and that's a permanent commitment.

Free so far
For your HOA

Standard service has been free for communities from day one, and it still is. If that ever changes, you'll get plenty of notice well in advance.

  1. Reach out

Email support@hoazz.com and tell us you'd like to onboard your community. Include its name, city and state, and your management company if you have one.

  2. Share your documents

Provide your official governing documents — a portal link, a shared folder, or PDFs attached to an email all work. The essentials are your declaration/CC&Rs, bylaws, rules, ARC guidelines, and recent meeting minutes.

  3. We set it up

HOAZZ creates a dedicated mailbox for your community (for example, yourcommunity@hoazz.com) and imports and indexes every document so it's ready to answer questions.

  4. Quality check

Before going live, we test answers against your documents to confirm they're accurate and properly cited.

  5. Go live

Share the address with your residents — in a newsletter, on your website, or in the welcome packet. That's it.

The only exception

The one thing we'd ever quote for is a work-intensive extra an office specifically asks for — a custom feature, guaranteed turnaround, or an integration — and even then it's always agreed in writing, in advance. Everything above is free.

Keeping it current

Adding & updating documents

Your records change — new minutes get posted, rules get amended. Keeping HOAZZ current is simple, and only your authorized people can do it.

  1. Get submit access

Email support@hoazz.com to have a board member's or your manager's email added to your community's authorized-submitter list. This protects your community so only trusted people can change what HOAZZ knows.

  2. Send the documents

Once you're approved, email the new or updated files as PDF attachments to your community's HOAZZ address.

  3. They go live

HOAZZ imports, reads, and indexes them, and they immediately become part of the answers — with citations, just like everything else.

What to send: newly adopted rules or amendments, recent meeting minutes, updated budgets, ARC guideline revisions, official notices — anything that governs the community.

Always the latest

HOAZZ answers from the most recent version of a document, so residents get current information. If a rule was amended, the amendment wins. Documents sent by someone not on the authorized list are not added — they'll receive a friendly note explaining how to request access.

Good to know

Cited & accurate

Every answer names its source document and page, and comes from the newest version. If it isn't in your documents, HOAZZ says so.

Private

Questions and answers are never sold. Personal questions aren't stored.

Free to use

Residents are free — always. And standard service is free for HOAs too, as it has been from the start.

Not legal advice

HOAZZ points you to what your documents say — it doesn't give legal advice or make decisions.
